Dominic Foy!!!! CUTEST!

I watched the whole series of state of play , and in one day! - HOURS!
so I thought I'd share my comments with you:)

Who thought it was hilarious when they were chasing Domonic Foy through the station and it went in slow motion and he was all bandadged up from the other dude beating him up?
I could'nt stop laughing!
I dont think it was supposed to be funny but the way Marc Warren played Dominic Foy was so good and funny, for me he was the best character in the programme :D
It was just too funny when he was in hospital, all bandadged up and he tried to eat, i bet there must have been so many outakes! i've been trying to find some for ages

Dane Christensen, this guy is in the upside of anger and he plays the secretly gay friend of one of the main characters. but I cant seem, to find out weather he is the guy in state of play, i think he plays sid, the gay guy (again) who types all of the conversations up onto his computer. Comment if you know please!

also, what's the name of the guy, he was really good in this and he was one of the main characters...ummm...he dressed up as a post guy to deliver the empty box so that domonic would sign it, and he was really good at getting all the information and Bill Nighy didnt want to hire him at the begining, i need to see if he's in any other movies!

thanks:D
xx

I checked the ending credit for you, and the actor who played Syd is Tom Burke. His filmography in here doesn't list State of Play though.

Tom's info:

His role in State of Play is listed on the front page of the club. :)

And the delivery boy with the helmet is James McAvoy.

Yeah, I agree with you, Dominic Foy is the funnist and cutest role in the show!! :D I love what he wore and did. If Dominic hadn't been in it, the show would have been too damn serious to watch...Marc did a great job!!

Well, the second I saw him all I could do was yell "OMG BLITHE!!!1!11!" And had that on the brain for the remainder of the show, haha. I watched all six straight and loved every second of it.

Bill Nighly...he is so...awesome. He snorted. HE SNORTED. Multiple times. I died laughing.

And his son (Dan Foster) was played by James McAvoy. James McAvoy is brilliant. Really brilliant. Recommendations: Inside I'm Dancing, Bright Young Things, Chronicles of Narnia, Children of Dune, Wimbledon

If you can get your hands on them: Macbeth (from BBC's Shakespeare Retold) and Shameless

Shameless is a TV Series by State of Play creator Paul Abott. It's really good and a lot the actors for State of Play appear in Shameless. James plays Steve and is wonderful.

I think the airport 'escape' scene is supposed to be a take on the ending of 12 Monkeys (or La Jetee, if you prefer).

Had me laughing from the second it started...

He was sticking out like a sore thumb. He said all his lines the exact same way he always says everything ain't it? And he was so over the top in the comedy, that it was almost offensive really. The usual gay joke. Comic relief to the drama that happens around. Blah.

The Dominic Foy character was often entertaining, but the most entertaining bits belonged in a different series, really.
