Jedi Acedemy has some of the neatest options I've ever seen in a SW game when it comes to weapons and wardrobe. And I was wondering, what every one carries into battle on this game. Personally I go for dual sabers. I did once try it with the double bladed or as they like to call it the staff, but it wasn't my thing. I just couldn't get the style right.

shareI find 2 Sabers really irretating, for me it's the saber staff or the single saber, which is still damn cool. for the saber I have to say Blue, for the staff purple.
I profess with 2 Sabers, but no one uses 2 in the movies (in General). But To show off, I use a single Blue Sentinel, Green Consul, Blue Firebrand or a green Adept, or any combo of both (first 2, or last 2. as long as i fight with blue and green)

Same here, there's almost no defence with the staff, 2 is the way to roll.
shareI love the staff. Looks the coolest. You can do spinning butterfly with multiple opponets (attack1+sidestep... and this is a good defense also), the kata w/out being as vunerable like with two sabers (though that kata _looks_ cool with the floating sabers, it doesn't defend against impale), and then the superfast spin attack, with which you can dispatch even the 2nd most powerful dark jedi type with the staffs in one attack, too... if you trap them against a wall or in a corner. And that one looks the coolest by far, plus being the most devastating with the minimum control input. One of these days, I'll play with all the "weak" powers and see how I do (no grip, no lightning, no drain, no extra missions). All too easy to grip and toss dark jedi off of ledges. For the single saber, the lunge is cool for the fast style (as it was in the previous game).
shareI hate having a blue saber because every one has a blue lightsaber thats all you see blue and green so I get a purple I think it looks cool and the staff style would have to be my favorite that and duel colors for that green and purple with the black hilt Firebrand I think its called.

Single blue. In story mod, through pure chance alone, you can split a siths saber into dual sabers ala Darth Maul vs Obi Wan.

shareI wanted to see the flip kick (front + behind)in slow motion, so I chose the staff, and I thought that was the coolest thing ever. It's been my favourite ever since. Kicking people around sure is fun, though.

I like dual, you can deactivate one and use the other like a normal saber, but in some situations with multible enemies its nice to whip out the second one
And i like the neon effect yellow and purple give!

Nothing beats the sabre staff when it comes to shear enjoyment. I've replayed this game countless times over because of how awesome that weapon was,
