Good movie

At first i really didnt give this movie a chance...i had passed by it several times on my direct TV movie channels and didnt think twice about watching it...i decided to check it out bc their was nothing on,, and this movie was very good...im one of those people who tries to stay away from the low budget films...occasionaly i will find a good low budget but for the most part a lot of them are not very good....Spin was different it should a mix of the good times and bad...it was entertaing and kept you wanting to see how the two main charecters lives turned out in the end...the casting was very good as well for a low budget.....(Ryan Merriman-Final Destination) and (Paula Garces-The Shield)...i would give this movie and 8 out of 10..for ANY movie NOT just a low budget one...

Thank you! I'll pass that on to Ryan and Paula..as well as the producers/director!

I totally agree with that; this is one of the few movies (reguardless of the budget) that you start caring about the characters.
A very nice movie indeed!

P.S. Paula did an amazing job in this movie.

I just saw it on TV and here's my review: This movie takes your heart to all the right places. It's exactly what a good story should be. Ryan Merriman and Paula Garces offer two strong performances alongside an extremely well put together cast. Spin will leave your spirit soaring in a big sky of hope, healing and redemption.

I added to my flixster.com favorite movie list. The director did a wonderful job!!!!

I've been waiting to see this movie for so long. I'm a fan of Ryan Merriman and heard about it a while ago, but never was able to see it. Finally it was played late the other night. It was wonderful. Really interesting characters. Everything, I just loved it.

I really agree with this, and would add that it was very cleverly filmed. The atmosphere of the film was very specific- the backgrounds and exterior shots were filmed really tightly so nothing felt like fluff or wasted film. The night of the dance, when Eddie takes the other girl, they show shots of him picking her up, but then later they cut to the overflow of students hanging out on the steps with music pouring out the doors- but they never actually show the dance.
Also, this film was placed very firmly in the 50's, without beating it over our heads. The costumes and the language used were authentic without being over the top, like most movies about this time era.
