yea i know plus it said nothing was harmed but that wouldnt make sence cause they vaccumed it up once it dropped. plus most of that camp season seemed like it was acting. i just felt like they were reading it out of a script besides nicole. but really hunter. like how that guy just happened to walk in on them kissing. thats just one thing that seemed set up.

reply

I dont think the urn was scripted i just think the urn they were given wasn't real i mean look at nicoles face when she knocks it priceless! The whole Hunter think is so scripted because hes such a bad actor hes like so what does you bf think about this or whatever he says its like errr you can so tell thats scripted.

"What is Wal-Mart? Do they sell walls" - Paris Hilton

reply

i know hunters a terrible actor but at least hes really hot. at one point hes like "i just wish i could be the type of guy she likes but if she doesnt like me for me then whatever" or something like that. idk whenever he opens his mouth it seems like hes reading from a script.

reply

Took the words right outta my mouth or off my keyboard which ever.

Season 2 Episode 1
Paris says "oh good the cars here"
sounded really fake

reply

alot of stuff seems to have been like added in after the show like the last episode of season 4 when Nicole goes "I can't believe you wore blue fur" or whatever, SCRIPTED! and season one with that milk bottle filling thing. as if that auctually be real.

reply

Yeh Like The Urn One It Said That the ashes were cerment && cat litter. so nothing got damaged when nicole 'accidently on purpose' knocked it over.

Season 1 - When Nicole Pretened Her Cat Died && Her Credit Problem. Think that Was a Bit Scrited.

Season 2 - when Paris Said Oh Good the Car's here, When They Lost The Girl Playing Hide and Seek. When Nicole && Paris Made That Dog Food Sausage.

Season 5 - when the pageant thing was going on && Paris was like no dont touch that then falls thru it

loads more. Lol

My Sig was more than 100 Characters, So your stuck with me complaining bout it

reply

obviously the cat thing was scripted...that was the point. She was lying to get out of trouble lol. obviously, there are a lot of scripted moments but the show is frickin hilarious.

oh, even in season one, the most "real" of them all, there are *beep* of fake moments. One that comes to mind is when they are working at the dairy, and P and N see Danny's hot tub while fixing their hair.Nicole sports a devilish grin, and The camera cuts to both girls miraculously in swim suits and sunning on the porch. there is no way that the girls would have had swim suits with them by chance. Also, when they get fired from the dairy at the end of the day it shows them peeling out, complaining about the little money they got for their work. Their hair is all messed up, and their outfits are different than they were in the beginning of the day. In the next scene, they both look the same as they did that morning with fresh hair and makeup, and their cammo farm outfits. They are up against a wall that looked like Danny's dairy farm, talking about how they are "so scared to go home to Albert." The fake way that they say it is a total give away. Also, Paris and Nicole met their boyfriends from season 1 in a previous episode where they host the springtime gala, not at the gas station. The shots where they are at the bar show them all laughing and talking during the gala, so the whole "relationship" thing was also a set-up. I also remember reading a local Arkansas newspaper that claimed the girls got kicked out by the Ledings two weeks before the show was going to end because they were messy, rude, and disrespectful, but I don't know if that's true. Can you tell I'm a fangirl? lol

I think a lot of people are misusing the word "Scripted" on here. I think occasionally some lines were scripted throughout the entire series, but the rest was not scripted. Most scenes were staged, which does not necessarily mean they memorized lines...they were just put in scripted scenes with real reactions. I have a dear friend that was apart of Seasons 1 & 2, (behind the scenes of it). She told me too, they actually went to a sound booth and recorded lines to edit into scenes of the show. Some are noticeable, most are not. Haha.

What was the most memorable moment for me was Season 1, when Paris and Nicole snuck out to go partying after they were told not to. Don't mind that the entire camera crew was there stomping around in the house (8+ people) as they were sneaking out and supposedly weren't heard by the rest of the family in the house.

I live in the UK. Before each episode airs theres actually a message saying "some scenes have been created for entertainment purposes" ie are fake.
It also said "no bodies are ashes were damaged in the making of this episode" - the ashes was FAKE.

The entire 5th season was staged. It wasn a real camp and ALL of the people that work at the camp are actors (some of them - such as the nurse - even have IMDB profiles).

I havent seen season 4 yet...I get the impression that most of the earlier seasons are real though.

reply

oh gee season 5 was scripted? :(

reply

This one is 100% scripted for sure!

When Paris and/or Nicole made the pie and left it outside and the dog came and ate it. We have one camera man with the pie and a dog randomly comes and starts eating it. Ummm, if the cameraman was there he would've done something obviously. What would've been more realistic is if the cameras followed Paris and Nicole and when they came back they see the dog eating the pie.

All the good signatures are over 100 letters.

Good one. I definitely thought that was fake/scripted as well. Not to mention who is that dog? As near as I can tell, the Leding family didn't even own a dog. I have the first season on DVD and have watched all of the episodes several times Never once did that dog ever appear except for that exact moment. Very convenient...

reply

You can see the dog in earlier episodes. Notably one where he's sleeping in the driveway and the camera pans up from him and then focuses on the house. And the camera men and crew aren't supposed to interact. I'm not saying it couldn't be fake but what's been stated is wrong.

why is nobody mentioned the season 4 finale and the season 5 premiere, when Nicole and Paris finally "meet up" (this was during their feud) and then settle their differences. all on screen...it was sooo fake and thats what made me 100% sure the feud was fake.

That was supposed to be fake though. They were "recreating" their reconciliation or something to that effect. But pretty much everything on the E! seasons was scripted anyway.

Most of the nudist resort episode, the only one I watched all the way through. At the beginning the girls stop at a Burger King, order a bunch of stuff but don't have the money to pay. First they ask random strangers for cash and than when they can't get the rest of the money they just take the food and dip out. That would be theft, even if it's a small amount and they wouldn't just put the evidence on TV like that if it's really how it happened. I'm sure that they producers paid the cashier as soon as the girls left the store.

When they get to the nudist resort they are supposed to be maids and they get sick of it and pretend to be the guests staying in the room that they are supposed to clean. They call another maid to clean the room up and order room service, charging it to the real guests of the room "and make sure to give yourself a big tip." Yea, I'm sure that the staff wouldn't recognize the reality TV stars who are working at the resort and their camera crew, and just think they were the folks staying in the room. I've been to that resort, and while it's a big place, it ain't that big.
