...that Mark really did what he was accused of doing?

I was under the impression that he was wrongly accused.

Yeah, but then he gave the speech how we are slaves to our genes and we can't help certain behaviors. So it was like he was trying to find a way to alleviate himself of any responsibility if he had done it.

I took that speech to be more about Aviva girl(s), not about himself. We haven't seen him showing any inappropriate and abusive interest in her after finding out that she ran away with getting pregnant in mind. I'd expect him to do so if he had some biological compulsion to do what he was accused of.

IDK, Mark Weiner just doesn't seem like one who would do that, not yet at least, because I will admit he looks like one. Hahahah.

Exactly.

I saw Palindromes before Welcome To The Dollhouse, and there was some doubt in my mind, but watching that it's obvious that he wouldn't do that. I think the inclusion of all the bit furthers Missy's character wonderfully, and makes a very good extension to her story in Dollhouse.

No. Remember how near the end, when Aviva is at the table drawing up her guest list with her mother, she suggests Mark? Her mother says no, what with the recent accusations, and Aviva's father calls out from the other room and says that it's all BS, there have been no formal charges pressed, etc. From what we know about the child's mother (Missy) and what we know about Mark, it's extremely unlikely that Mark did what he was (informally) accused of doing.
