Fat Aviva nearly ruins the film

Does anyone else think so too? I absolutely could not stand her. She had no screen presence, took up way too much screentime without switching out, and was a chore to look at. Sure, I get the whole deal about having the variety of actresses, but why oh why was the most different and uninteresting Aviva given the main focus? If anything, she should have served the part that Huckelberry Aviva played. She, along with the incredibly annoying super-christians, brought this movie down from a 10 to a 8 for me (and if she had been the only Aviva, I'm sure I would have ranked it below a 5).

i thought the "mama sunshine aviva" made the film. she was lovely in the role. she transcended the skin color, age, and weight of the "original" aviva. when you watch her, you feel like you're really looking at this vulnerable, innocent child whose just looking to love and be loved.

I wish there could have been more of the Jennifer Jason Leigh Aviva- she's a brilliant actress.

JJL not being in more = biggest flaw of the film

I loved that Aviva too. Best character in the film and the most likable.

She was my favorite actress in the whole thing. She was brilliant.

Yeah I didn't think she was in it that long. I wouldn't take her out for a minute. Every actress was necessary in showing different sides of Aviva.

The super Christians were the best part. I about lost it when they showed the handicapped insyncish band singing bible songs.

Gosh, I hope you went back to watching Fast & Furious movies after this little journey out of your depth.

How dare a fat girl inconvenience you by showing up on screen in any film for any significant length of time!

yeah, i agree, i liked all the other avivas better, they totally shouldn't have had the fat aviva in the movie, that confused me a bit after it told the story about the young thin aviva, there was really no point to have her in there

I think the fat Aviva overdid it. She was overacting and it was painful to watch. The Aviva who was with Bob when he was shot was much better because although she was clearly innocent and flawed like fat Aviva she understood what was going on and exuded a certain realistic intelligence. Fat Aviva was just a big ball of dumb emotion and didn't feel like a real character.
