shareI have never seen an episode of Everyone Loves Raymond and after seeing this movie I will avoid that show at all cost. Ray Romano makes Bob Sagett look like a comic genius. How an actor can be so lame and so popular sickens me. I have often heard critics lament what a waste of time a seeing a bad movie was and how they want that time back. This movie made me feel that way. I actually became angry when thinking of how the pre-movie commercials had more entertainment value.

Trust me. Watch Everybody Loves Raymond, and you will understand the hype about Ray Ramano. I understand how you feel about him from seeing this movie as it was a total embarrassment. But Ray's comic quality is certainly seen in Everybody Loves Raymond.

I have seen both the movie and the sitcom. I didn't mind the movie, Hackman and the rest of the cast excluding Romano were genius. Romano was and always will be horrible. I have seen the sitcom on a number of occasions (mainly because there are no other quality 30min shows on other networks monday's at 9, and I am a Two and a Half Men fan (now there's some comedic acting.)) and I have to say that the only person tolerable on that show is the grandmother (Ray's Mother). The rest of the Raymond cast are just as bad as him. How he ever got cast in this major motion picture is beyond me. I have had the unfortunate expierence of watching him do stand up in Montreal, Canada at the Just for laughs festival and believe me there were like two people laughing everyone else wa clearing their throats and coughing.

Except that you and most of today's folks are used to controversial flims of action or comedy with toilet humor of outrageous joke so when one comes along and just a Plot, oh lordy a simple polt no big deal you dont know how to handle it.

I'm sorry, but because it's not toilet humor is not why I don't like the film. I've seen the skit done by Abbott and Costello, well known as "Who's on First?" where the humor is not controversial, and the skit is absolutely hysterical. I always laugh non stop when I watch it.

So people who don't like the film are cynical? Or maybe the ones who did like it are very easily pleased? Tell me one joke where you laughed out loud. I didn't even care for either characters. I wasn't disappointed at all when Ray Ramano lost the election. Everytime they build you up to what could be funny, it ends up being a bitter disappointment. I've liked a lot of comedies where they generally start out slow on the laughs. When they mentioned the debate, my hopes began to raise, and unfortunately my hopes were beaten and pushed in the mud.
I'm sorry I didn't like it, but I have to say you must be incredibly easily pleased that you found this film to be very funny.

but this movie was funny,but i liked it and i am not easily pleased cause i hated Daredevil, almost fell asleep.

I haven't seen the second Charlie's Angels, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was worse than this. Don't get me wrong. I didn't like this movie at all, but I have seen far worse films.
