Welcome To Mooseport put a quick end to his big screen film career for sure. He joked about it on the Ellen Degeneres show a few years later that this movie ruined his chances of starring in more movies.
I did see Ray Romano recently in the direct to video movie "Rob The Mob" which was much better than I expected. I'm sure that a successful movie career doesn't really matter too much since he is getting residual checks from Everybody Loves Raymond. It would be nice to see Ray Romano get another chance in a big budget movie. Adam Sandler continues to make big studio movies that bomb and I don't think he is going to stop anytime soon.
