shareI wish he would make at least one last appearance so we could bid him farewell end wish him an enjoyable retirement. The one reason I enjoyed "Troube With the Curve" was that no one thought Clint Eastwood would be retiring from acting after "Grand Torino" but it was neat to see him take one more bow. I feel now that if Clint Eastwood is really retired from acting that is fine now and may he enjoy what he is doing now. C'mon, Mr. Hackmon, just one more please. However, happy retirement.
shareI found myself at one of the 'click bait' web site that claimed that Gene Hackman's experience with making this movie was so bad, he gave up acting. No details, of course... I've seen this movie 10 years ago and don't remember it being all the good, but didn't know if it was truly so bad that it drove Gene to retirement.
