'It's my Life!' - It will be over soon. Anyone else notice this part?

I just watched this movie and when that part came on I was like oh jeez, that's kinda sad. Did anyone else think about that when they heard it?

Its where Brittany Murphy's character is arguing with the guy about being on the show and she yells "It's my life!" and he replies "It will be over soon!" Then he gives a weird look and says "The Show!" to clarify he meant the show and not her life.

Over too soon indeed...
