One of Tara's better performances...

I just rented this from Blockbuster earlier this week (because it's one of the few Tara Reid movies I haven't seen) and I thought it was all right.

I have to say I was surprised by Tara's supporting performance. It's great when she gets a role like this (a more dramatic one), but it's sad that the whole film wasn't as great to me.

Overall, I wonder about the history of this film's release.

Was it sent straight-to-DVD, or just a television premiere? I noticed on the DVD cover art, it went to a couple of film festivals, yet IMDB only lists one (the Gen Art Film Festival in 2004).
