Soundtrack nitpick


I know some people have a problem nowadays with the way Tarantino uses modern music in these hyper kinetic genre period pieces he gratifies himself over, but for the most part i thought it worked here, except for one scene in particular: death of Zoller and Shoshanna. Tarantino decided to use an instrumental and of Un Amico, instead of, you know,(despite the Italian title) the actual song sung in French. That would have suited the scene a lot better than the tired instrumental, which still sounds fine on its own, but you have a Jewish spy film set in France. Either Tarantino couldn't clear copyright or he thought using the actual song with French lyrics would be too on the nose. But let's be honest, Tarantino has been a very on the nose filmmaker for a while now
