Funniest part of this movie?

There were quite a few unexpected bits of humor in this movie, and what made most of them funny is that they kinda came out of nowhere. The part where Brad Pitt says "Bonjourno!" made me laugh out loud.

So many but one of my favorites is when they are in the bar discussing operation Keno and Fassbender is explaining where he's from and he says he was" in the scene as the skiing torch scene" . That whole scene is great lol

THERES NO ROOM IN MY CIRCUS TENT FOR YOU !!!!

YES! That is such a funny part of the film, mpboylanjr-54038! :)

Hellstrom: Where are you from?

Archie: Piz Palu.

Hellstrom: (said incredulously) The mountain?!

Archie: Ya.

Me: laughing so hard, I'm crying. :)

And when Hellstrom lightly slaps Archie's face in that very patronizing, fake joking kind of way, and says "Kidding! I am kidding!" *tears* The whole exchange between them is so hilarious! :)

I didn't find it remotely hilarious ... I found it to be the tensest part of the film. Absolutely riveting, but not funny in the least.

But I always laugh at Aldo's expression (and Landa's reaction) when he says he's only likely to get "chewed out, I been chewed out before."

It's funny because it's such a great payoff. Landa thought he was in absolute control, had everything covered, and in that one instant, he realized he was standing, handcuffed, in front of "Aldo the Apache," and Landa had just given him back his trademark knife.

He knew exactly what was coming next.

I love it when when Omar Ulmer (my favorite character, played by the beautiful Omar Doom) is trying to get past people in the theatre seats to get to Donny who is motioning him over from the end of the aisle. Omar, in the midst of saying "Scusi, scusi, pardoni" to all of those seated theatre patrons in that row slips, dips, and falls silently to the floor. He then pops back up, and "scusis" himself a few more times. Hilarious, perfect slap-stick delivery there. :) Hahahaha!

There are so many funny things in this film!

When Donny says to Omar "When I kill that guy, you have 30 feet to get to that guy." He then points at Omar (with those funny white gloves on), and says "Can you do it?" And Omar answers in a very serious tone: "I have to."

Then they fake out the guards when Donny, pretending to be a waiter, says "Champagne?" in that funny fake French accent, and *BOOM!!!* to the forehead!!! Donny takes down the first guard with the small gun he's hidden under that cloth napkin... Cue music, and here comes Omar! He's running so hard, and *BOOM!!!* He takes down the second guard with the small gun strapped to his gloved hand! I LOVE that whole sequence and exchange! It's just so good and so funny. Omar and Donny are great together. :)

I always laugh when Waltz pulls out that ridiculously large pipe.

The entire interaction at the movie theater was top notch stuff.

Taking the piss at the guys trying to sound Italian, then the guy that doesn't try so hard nails it perfectly.

His laughing outburst at the ridiculous mountain climbing excuse.

Also, during the first scene when he pulls out his massive pipe, showing LaPadite that he's got the bigger you know what...

Christopher Waltz is the only reason to watch this movie...when he isn't on screen the movie just plods along.

The Italian scene for sure... Landa was such a troll character there lmao.

It's not a line, but during the Italian scene where Bridget is introducing the basterds to Landa, and when she introduces Omar, he just raises his hand with his fingers all pinched together. Kind of his way of thinking "this is what Italians do." This, of course, is followed by my second favorite part, Eli Roth yelling "Margharetti!" about 5 times. What a great scene.
