Insect Attack

Near the end of the film the young boy and the adult man were attacked by flying bugs. The man got stung up real bad. The boy took cover.

What kind of bugs were those. Those things were nasty.

they are called CGIBugs ;-)
They don't exist, the computer generated them.

I believe that Ripkuna called them tsetse flies.

This is the third time I have had to post this information because three people started new threads about the bugs:

Tsetse flies are one of the most dangerous creatures in Africa. Their bite causes sleeping sickness which is always debilitating and often fatal. Either the villagers possessed some tribal lore that enabled them to cure Rip or he just got lucky. But massive efforts are now underway to eradicate the fly and so bring the disease under control.
