Soundtrack

Does anyone know if the soundtrack has been released? It was some of the most beautiful film music I've heard in awhile. Great film!

I wholeheartedly agree! The music was poignant. Tried to search for the soundtrack on the web...but there was nothing. Looks like your best bet is buying the DVD...n switching off the TV...while just playing the sound.

Funnily enough, the soundtrack was the only thing I *didn't* like about this film, which otherwise I thought was 10/10 superb. Where the film was open-ended, searching, deeply moving but without sentiment, for my money the soundtrack overlaid a sugary sentimentality which was out of place and detracted from the storytelling.

YES!! I agree with you entirely, matthew-496. I imagine that the producers of the film thought it would be a good idea to have this cheesy Hollywood-style 'tug-on-heartstrings' music at certain points in the film. A tiny blip in an otherwise brilliant, intelligently made film

Was that really original score for the film? I'm not the only one who thinks it's familiar - sure that orchestral score isn't from something else?
