IMO Gozu wouldn't really benefit from an HD release given the video quality of the film. From what I've heard the other Miike films on Blu-ray (Ichi and Audition) haven't fared too well.

Media Blasters handled Ichi though, they really don't know how to handle those things well.

I thought Audition looked good on Blu.
