Save the Green Planet looks like it could be a highlight, too.

The Asia Extreme season starts today with Gozu (in London and 4 other areas, which i've forgotten), comprising of seven films, which will be shown at 13 venues in all.

That said, I went to see Gozu this afternoon, and Tartan Films (being the useless bastards that they are) had forgotten to send the print.

Great.

Anything Else was pretty good, though.

Only seems to be showing in the South and Scotland though. Too far away for me.

the ads are saying it is being shown at the end of august but according to metro it is being shown this week, will find out tomorrow which is true.

well, it came out in London today (like i said).

They just didn;t have the print.

I went to see it at UGC Didsbury last night.

Absolutely superb film, like David Lynch but far more satisfying and without the pretension. Not going to be for everyone though - I went with 5 friends, and 4 of them absolutely hated it. What do they know?

"Phone" looks to be the most missable of any of the films in this season - just seems a very tired concept and the trailer they showed last night was extremely uninspiring.
