I liked the whole movie very much, but I saw it with english subtitles because i don't understand japanese. So I like to know what the word "gozu" means.
Also I like to know if the song at the end of the movie is relevant to the story. It has some spoken parts in it and it starts with the word "gozu" repeated three times, I think.
It means cow's head. Read it at some review.

shareDoesn't it refer to the god that greets people at the after life. And its actually a man with a cows head or something.
I could be way off but I seem to remember it being that.

In the Buddhist religon, Gozu is the gate keeper that protects the good people and guards the bad people. At least that is what Miike said in an interview on the DVD.
