Me, I've been keeping track since I was in college--as far back as 2005, I reckon, thanks to Wikipedia's list of animated features and this IMDb entry. (BTW, I'm now 22.)

i think it was similar for myself. I remember seeing a trailer in 05/06 and nothing eventuated.
From memory. it was this and The Magic 7 which i've been most intruiged by.

I saw in-production footage of it on Access Hollywood back in 2002 or 2003. Ya know, back when Freddie Prinze Jr. was still somewhat relevant.

Me too, I only heard about it today when I checked out a link someone posted on a forum I go on, about the film's crappy box office gross and stuff.
shareI remember seeing a trailer for it back in my old, old apartment... which must have been 2002 or early 2003. When I heard a couple of days ago that it was (finally) coming out I was somewhat shocked -- It's akin to the feeling of a dead relative coming back to life.
Someone mentioned on another post about something called Speed Racer which was supposed to be one of this year's big movies, but didn't do well.
At least I heard about that with its commercials, behind the scenes specials, toy tie-ins, etc.- and the fact that various actors were named for the project going back to the 90's.
This movie Delgo I just found out about last weekend. At least the movie Fireproof had a specific targeted audience. I seem to remember that movie opening in the top 10.
I'm open! There's just nothing in there!
I've seen Delgo and The Magic 7 on a lot of actor's IMDb pages for at least three years now but I had no idea that Delgo had been released last weekend until I saw an article about it flopping on IMDb.
