I beg to differ. This movie was very entertaining. Its actually one of my favortites. Lindsay played this role very well. This film was inspiring. Even though it was kinda kiddie at times...it still had a good meaning and thats what made it a good film.
sharei thought this movie was unbelievably bad. it was so awful. i love teenage chick flicks but i was so disapointed when i saw this.

I agree, I also like teen flicks but this was just awful. It didn't have a good story and it basically got torn apart from the second the opening credits begin.

everyone has there own opinion, thats the point of reviews?! i personally think its horrible too, hardly a good storyline.
shareFor one thing, this movie is just mindless entertainment, and it was made with that goal. In that sense, it has succesfully achieved its goal. If you would like at, say, Schindler's List, you can hardly say it was a bad movie because it had a bad storyline, you can dislike it because of its harsh subject. See what I'm getting at? There's different kinds of bad. Like Scary Movie-bad: stupid, poorly written, yet entertaining, or Waterworld-bad: complety over the top, what am I looking at-kinda bad. Catch my drift? In this case, the movie was alright. It had a few good moments, and poked at the cliches.

I agree with the OP, the storyline was bad, the characters were unbelievable and the dialouge was fake.
shareI'm sorry then, if you think this movie is so good why don't you tell us why, instead of telling us to *beep* off. It works both ways you see. At least I can give a well thought out reason as to why this movie doesn't evern deserve to be a 4.
