I find it really funny that the character loved the name Lola. My best friends name is Lola. As she hates it as much as I hate my own. My name is Ruby. We always have people singing stupid songs to us with our names in them!!

lola just reminds me of the song by the kinks. which is about a transvestite. so i think that's funny :)

Just to share...the name "Lola" in some languages means a very slang way of saying a man's you know what. No I'm not lying =)

Her name is Lola? Was she a showgirl? All kidding aside, Lola means "grandmother" in Tagalog. Ruby is a great name, embrace it. Oh well, good-bye, Ruby Tuesday, I won't hang a name on you....
