The house in London...

I've just watched the movie again and I've noticed that the house the Bakshi's stay in while they're in London looks like the house from Bend It Like Beckham, does anyone know if it is?

All I know about the London house is that it's a real home. The people that actually live there (in real life) are friends of Gurinder Chada's family (or are members of her family -- I can't recall which it is; I know I heard it on the DVD commentary).

I'm not surprised... thousands of houses in London were built in this style between the first and second world wars, creating the suburbs which you can either love or hate. So the house might be or might not be the same but certainly is very representative.
