Mr. Kohli's accent

I saw the English language version. Was he intentionally doing an exaggerated "Englishman attempting an American" accent? Sort of emphasizing the r's, where a Brit would soften or drop. And to me, (a Yank) most South Asian English speakers have Brit accents, usually - Oxford? Watch the character Divya on "Royal Pains". Sorry if I have offended anyone.

The film was made in English.

Mr. Kohli tries to be "all things to all people" which is why he might have been trying to put on an American accent.

As an aside, the man who plays Darcy isn't American. He's actually from New Zealand.
