I must know who the artist and song is when the toothless biological mom sings along with her CD player, and then in the next scene, the tune plays without her flat voice over it. Sounds like a cover of a Slim Whitman ditty. Anybody?

shareThe singer was Patsy Cline, and the song was "I Fall to Pieces." If you've never heard it before, you really should make an effort to hear it now. It's one of Patsy's best, which means it's near or at the top of country music's best. Robena is not the only one to sing along with it -- the song is gorgeous, and Patsy makes it sound so easy.
