Might be just me...

I thought I saw the year 1999 on the report card Robert got. I might have looked at it wrong, so I wasn't quite sure! The documentary doesn't seem to come on again anytime soon and I can't find out about it for sure. Does anyone know? My guess is that I just looked wrong. :P

I have it recorded on our DVR satellite receiver. I just checked that scene and it does say 10/20/99 for the date under the comment about the Honor Roll.

Could be they used an old report card because it helped illustrate the point that he does well in school, but it also wouldn't be that far off. If the movie was released in 2003, they probably spent a couple of years filming it and then there was probably time spent editing it and preparing it for release.

Did you notice how much Anna's hairstyle changed throughout the film? There was obviously a lengthy time lapse. I don't think this is unusual for documentaries, for years to be spent filming them.

What I gather is that she released it in 2003 but it was filmed during the years of 1999-2000. The reason I think this is because the report card says 1999 and then towards the end when Robanna has Robert show his merit award and other awards on the wall, they say 2000.
I wonder about this family sometimes. I wonder what Robanna is doing now? I know that she is the author of a book of poems, but I wonder how they are all doing?
If anyone has any updated info, let me know.

I've scoured the internet trying to find out how they're doing but I can't find anything except what's here.
