ok, i was really confused why jack grabbed his kids by the river. i just got done watching it and i'm not sure if i missed any dialog because i had the volume low so i wouldn't wake up anyone. and was he thinking of pushing them in the water?! i totally missed that whole scene.
and yes, the score was amazing!
That scene was a little awkward. He didnt say anything. He just grabbed them. It made it look like he was going to push them.
The monster you created has returned... to kill you!
I think that was the moment that he realized how much he loved them & couldn't leave the marriage. He knew how close they were standing to the river & how they could have easily fell in & he could lose them so he was protecting them.
