Out of those three

...which one is your favourite Bryan Fuller show?

1. Wonderfalls This is one of the few ensemble cast shows where I liked each and every character. Seriously, even Heidi was so layered that she had her likable or at least understandable side. There was a lead I could more than identify with and awesome unexpected turns in the storylines. So the only bad thing i can think of, of course is that it was cancelled and never got a second chance like Dead like me did.

2. Pushing Daisies Loved the writing, the show had some of the best dialogue I've ever heard on TV. On the downside, Dark Angel had ruined no-touch romance for me and the cuteness could get annoying sometimes.

3. Dead Like Me The concept was innovative and inspired. The execution wasn't that good. Dealing with death can get depressing very easily, which it sometimes unintendetly did. Also George came across as an annoying whiner too often. Saying that it's still a great show and Rube is one of my all times favourite TV characters.

So what do you think?

Dead Like Me, peanut.

Definitely Pushing Daisies. Wonderfalls was a close second. While in Wonderfalls things were wacky for what Jaye saw (the talking animal figurines), in Pushing Daisies the whole universe was quirky, and it was special for many different aspects (the colors, music, dialogue, the modern fairy-tale atmosphere). Dead Like Me had an interesting premise, but I agree with you, George was a whiner and I couldn't put up with her apathetic and bored attitude. I liked the Dead Like Me movie, though, because she had grown up and behaved more like an adult.

Wonderfalls first, then Dead (the mom was so annoying towards the end) and last Pushing. All three were amazing!!!! So when will get a fourth one to add to the list?

reply

Wonderfalls (favorite TV show of all time)
Dead Like Me (although it went downhill quickly)
Pushing Daisies (just too frivolous)

I find that choosing between Pushing Daisies & Wonderfalls is difficult. But I'd say Daisies, Wonderfalls & then Dead Like Me.

Pushing Daisies - an all 'round brilliant show with a mediocre conclusion.

Wonderfalls - an enjoyable show that took some time to pick up steam and became rather repetitive at times.

Dead Like Me - an original concept with some great moments but so much unused potential. It's a show about the life after death that doesn't explore meaty philosophical issues of life and the afterlife - silly. The characters were mostly selfish mongrels but George is likeable at times. I liked Rube very much and George's sister was also likeable. It was an overly cynical series.

1. Wonderfalls (just great all around, and I didn't think there were any weak episodes)

2. Pushing Daisies (for the first season; the fairytale aspect was awesome and I loved Olive and Emerson Cod, but the second season was much weaker)

3. Dead Like Me is a distant third. The first few episodes were good, but it was alternately crude and cynical so it didn't consistently have the magic that Wonderfalls or Pushing Daisies did.

Like the three of them, but:

1. Wonderfalls. The best in my opinion, great actors and writing. Every episode made me laugh.

2. Pushing Daisies. Very funny and original, specially Olive.

3. Dead Like Me. Good, but not as much as the other two. I'm one of those people who did like the movie.

I'll got with

(1) Pushing Daisies - big big fan of Jim Dale's american Harry Potter narration, so having him narrate the series just sent me all gidding, add to that all the other wondrous elements just made this an uber fun experience, if only the writers strike hadn't come around at the same time

(2) Wonderfalls

(3) Dead Like Me - loved the main character, but think it could have benefited from a little fine tuning of "just how things worked"

"Wonderfalls" started as strong as any show I can think of ("Firefly" also started strong the way Whedon planned it).

"Dead Like Me" didn't hit it's stride until the final episodes.

Haven't started "Pushing Daisies" yet.

i think pushing daisies is a stronger show in almost every conceivable way.

Wonderfalls and Dead Like Me are tied for me with Pushing Daisies being completely great in another way.
