What comes after these?

After watching both series of CLONE WARS (2003-2005), is there another one that picks up where the cliffhanger left off?

My 6 year old and I just finished the CLONE WARS series, and I don't know what to watch next.

Thanks

what about the movie and the new series, where do they fit in?

reply

They fit after the 22nd episode of clone wars series.

reply

is that the last episode?

reply

No, I'm pretty sure that's the time Anakin became a jedi knight, travosky left space after that episode for untold stories of the clone wars to appear there. That's were this new series takes place.

and what about the continuation of the story, after episode 22? do those just no longer count?

reply

No they count, there is just an unfathomable amount of time in the middle of episode 22, the part where there is all those quick scenes of Anakin doing heroic deeds, signifying there are more stories to be told. Its like they told the ending and the beginning of the clone wars in this series, and then more of the middle is added in the new one.

The new Clone Wars series takes place after the episode that Anakin is dubbed a Knight (and gets his padawan braid cut off by Yoda) and before the next episode where he has long hair. Other than that there's just the movies to watch.

reply

Yeah, it's kind of confusing, but the clone wars cartoon series ends right where episode III begins, so if you finished volume 2, the next thing to watch, chronologically speaking, is episode III Revenge of the Sith.

The new tv series "The Clone Wars" takes place sometime after Anakin becomes a jedi knight, but before the battle of Coruscant and the kidnapping of Palpatine.

As far as I know, this is the correct chronological order of all Star Wars movies and tv shows:

1. Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999)
2. Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002)
3. Star Wars: Clone Wars Vol. 1 (episodes 1-20 / seasons 1 & 2) (2003-2004)
4. Star Wars: Clone Wars Vol. 2 (episode 21 / season 3) (2005)
5. Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008)
6. Star Wars: The Clone Wars (all episodes / all seasons) (2008-)
7. Star Wars: Clone Wars Vol. 2 (episodes 22-25 / season 3) (2005)
8. Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005)
9. Star Wars: Droids (all episodes / all seasons) (1985-1986)
10. Star Wars: Droids: The Great Heap (1986)
11. Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope (1977)
12. The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978)
13. Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
