Email ABC now! Save Line of Fire!

I wanted to inquire to as the status of this television show. First of all I am in no way affiliated with the production, it's cast or crew. I do reside in Richmond, VA and have thoroughly enjoyed the shows use of our fair city.

The locale is a wonderful area full of history, both good and bad. My friends s and family have viewed the nine episodes eagerly and were concerned by it's drop from the network schedule. I know NYPD Blue may score higher and bring in the almighty advertising dollar during sweeps, and I can understand such a scheduling move.

I am really emailing to show my support of Line of Fire. I believe it is well written and the cast shows some real talent and promise. I wouldn't drop it so quickly. Especially since it has been announced already that NYPD Blue will enter it's final year in 2005. ABC, in my opinion, can start a nice following by sticking with Line of Fire. It's got law enforcement, violence, thugs, and sex. All the components that made NYPD Blue a hit when it came out.

Remember the cool receiving viewers gave 24 (Fox) when it first came out. Now the series is a smash hit. It too has some of the same key elements. And let me not be the last to compare Line of Fire to the Sopranos. The first year was tepid. Now everyone references the Sopranos as the defacto standard in criminal drama. Line of Fire has that same, dare I say it, fire.

Give it some time, don't drop the hammer so soon, and see what I am talking about. Line of Fire is a great show. Don't pull another "Sportsnight" ABC, and purposefully kill off a great show.
