Is Jonah Malloy`s crew the Irish Mob. Because they definitely don`t look or have Italian last names. And don`t look Jewish or Russian. So what are they?

while some of the henchmen may be of irish background the boss(Jonah Malloy) is jewish so no its just american 'mafia' no really associated with an ethnic group...unrealistic of real life crime gangs...but hey its american tv...its not like you can expect realism
