At least they are ending it with some sort of closure. Too bad, though. It could have been a good show if it was promoted and the writing team would have worked together a little more.

Judging from the descriptions of the last 2 episides, it sounds like they will be opening more doors rather than wraping up the story, but I'm sure they had no notice when ABC pulled the plug. Still, I will be glad to see more of this great show.

I want to know about the serie "Line of Fire". In this sunday, May 30, 2004, will be the last 2 series, it will be finale season or finale episodes? If it will be finale episodes, it will not be returning again this series in the future? If it will not be returning again this series in the future, really I'm sad but the actors and the actresses who are working in this serie, they are working others series and others movies in the future, these are their working-acting professional. Really, I like to watch this serie but no finale episodes, I like that this serie continue... I don't understand nothing about the last 2 series, why are the last 2 series, if it will be finale espisode? For me, this serie is very good of drama about the war of worlds (FBI and mob).
I wait that you can answer me about "it will be finale season or finale episodes?". I think that the ABC have problems to take many programs (series, films, games, and etc), but I don't know, which are their problems?

This pretentious if stylistically interesting cop melodrama just collapsed under it's own weight.

While it had a lot going for it, the two-hour season finale flushed almost almost all the interesting character building that had been done in earlier episodes in favor of a string of plot-driven cliches that tied things up way too neatly.

Do not get me wrong - this was way more interesting than most of what gets on to network TV, but when character and suspense go by the boards, what do we really have left:

- Painful opening credits (sort of an anti-Alaias thing going on)
- Rehash of the child-in-jepordy theme (already overused in this series)
- Awkward hospital drama (as if ER had never happened ...)
- A nifty car crash ending

This show could have been so good ... too bad it got cashiered tonight.

With the exception of Paymer's "lets be good to each Other" speech(Lurie's kryptonite), I thought it was good. For all the press Paymer gets, I think Brian Goodman was the show's strongest performer.

I just watched the 2 hour movie - I Tivo'd it from Sunday.

A friggin shame they are taking this show off the air...I know about 10 people that watched it religiously, and everyone loved it.

Anyway - I was going to delete it off of Tivo until I jumped on the web to see if there was any truth about the show being over. THen I noticed that people missed the finale.

It is a shame...this had the potential to be a really good show. There is such a lack of quality on TV (excluding HBO Shows) and it saddens me that they are taking a show like this off the air. I hope either ABC or another station reconsiders on the show...
