I thought this was great until...

I saw the Wire! Seriously, some of the dialogue and how people rat each other out at the drop of a hat made me think how unrealistic LoF was.

Still liked it though


The Wire was the study of multiple institutions in an Urban American city. Not much has since graced its themes or been done on the same level of execution.

Line Of Fire was about FBI post 9-11 trying to build a case against a slippery and Sophisticated Mobster Jonah Malloy. It was interesting show with growing pains and some aspirations. Pretty much a lot more complex than pretty much a lot of Broadcast crime dramas since it's cancelation.
