The cast and the theme of this series looks like heaven to me. Why isn't anyone talking about it? Hasn't it aired or something? One would think it would sell like crazy on dvd...

Anyone seen it?

Me too! I was looking at Tom Hanks' page and found this. I don't remember a thing about this ever being on the air or on DVD. I'm off to search for it.

This sounds like something I definitely would have watched on PBS,
but I don't remember ever seeing anything about it.
Was it made for PBS ? Did it ever air ?
Is it available? What is it ??????

i don't know what this is all about but if it was made with all these stars about U.S. history it should damn well air, not fall into oblivion with me first hearing about it 5 years after it was made.

Hey! ya this sounded too good to be true to me so I looked around and you can watch previews on the pbs website--but all it is is Katie Couric doing commentary and explaining history and then it'll show a painting of like Washington or whoever and then just one of the celebrities voices says one of their quotes. So I think that's why no one's said anything about this!

if you watch the preview of episode 6 you'll hear Robin Williams as Ulysses S. Grant
