.hack//SIGN collection missing 28th episode? (no spoilers)

so i was thinking about buying this show. i remember seeing it on adult swim but was too young to understand it, even though i loved watching it. and i just recently started watching it and got up to episode 8, and it is FANTASTIC. my adobe flash player unfortunately though was uninstalled so i can't continue it. so since i liked the show anyway i was thinking about buying this set off amazon.

but i've read some of the customer reviews and they've said that this collection only contains 27 episodes, when there are in fact, 28? is this true? and is there any particular reason for that? like, was the 28th episode originally an OVA or something? any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

i dont know this for a FACT but i believe i read on wikipeida that the 28th episode or the very LAST episode was a special kinda "secret" episode that wasnt included in all the sets. i'll check it out again though and let you know for sure.

actually there are only 26 original episodes, episodes 27-29 are all OVA's... 27 is an episode where mimiru reflects on her time playing fragment (the original world) episode 28 is the first time tsucasa logs back in (and it contains all the .hack game characters) and 29 is a funny episode where anime/game characters are racing for a hot springs (i believe)
