Why Was Kevin Bacon not nominated at the Oscars?

You're going to say that it's because he played a pedophile. Too controversial.

I doubt that because 2 years later Jackie Earle Haley got nominated for Little Children.

So what the hell happened? His performance was so freaking phenomenal?

I totally agree he gave a gr8 performace and deserved an award 4 it unfortunatly the best dont always win, its a case of whos in this year and wot film do we all want to over award.I think he is a gr8 actor and luv to watch him but for sum reason dont think he's in wae the luvies of the industry.
