Ricky Gervais makes it - did you find this film funny?

This is not a brilliant film by any stretch of the imagination. It's ok. Not really that funny, and it ticks all the right moral boxes to be family friendly. I found Ewan McGregor's character a bit annoying - not very helpful as he's the hero. John Cleese was great (as he always is) but what really kept it from being almost instant bargain bin material was Ricky Gervais. I found his character really funny, and the bit where he burps the alphabet appealed to me and my best friend's moronic sense of humour.
