Who else liked this movie?

Personally, I really liked it. It was funny, some really good actors and actresses did voice overs, it looked great, and hey! one of the guys from Monty Python were in it!

What do you think?

reply

Well, I liked the voices, they were cool

I liked it, just watched it today and found it funny (in parts) and even a little heartwarming. I only got it for Rik Mayall and was slightly disappointed he wasnt in it more but apart for that - great

Ricky Gervais as the pidgeon with personal hygene problems? Fantastic! My little brother got it for Xmas and we watched it on Boxing Day. He was more preoccupied by Madagascar but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Even though I'm 14 years old.

I thought it was pretty good too.
Not only did it include John Cleese of Monty Python's players but Hugh Laurie from Black Adder, even though it was a minor role, it would have been nice to give him a bigger role though. Heh Heh Lieutenant George Colthurst St.Barleigh returns. It was an innovative concept, with enough reality to back it up, Stephen Fry would have been amusing too. Anyway, better than what Hollywood pukes up out of its decaying inards, with some exceptions of course, read about the history of Carrier Pigeons, at one point they were even used for Aerial Recconnaisance photography.by the way, no Swastikas, if the film was made in the US, there'd be Swastikas all over.

I totally agree. It rocked.

i saw it last night and i really enjoyed it. it was quite funny and Valiant is very cute.

reply

Oh, yeah. Valiant is really very cute!

Oh, I've got a bad feeling about this...

Though I'm fiftten, my teenage friends loved it, and do I. I can tell why people didn't like it, but I'm thinking that they're might make a sequel in the future. My whole family loved it, my friends loved it, and so did I. Come on people, if you can't understand the meaning of the movie, the humor or what happens, then just stick your mouth in a empty tuna can, and be done with it. Chill out!

I had no little kids to take to the movie to see it, so I waited for the DVD to come out. Being a Ewan Mcgregor fan, and having all of his movies, I wanted this one too. It was a cute film and I loved Ewan as Valiant. [also loved him in Robots. I did go to the show to see Robots.] So many people have been tearing both these childrens movies apart. They are not rocket science. I am sure many children enjoyed them. Perhaps adults were not meant to view them as adult movies. Most people take their children to see anamiated movies so thier children can enjoy them, not necessarily themselves. I thought they were both nice anamiated movies, and even I enjoyed them. Valiant was just fine and Ewan sounded good.

Brilliant film, the casting was genius! John Cleese, Jim Broadbent, High Laurie, Ricky Gervais, Rik Mayall, Tim Curry, John Hurt all in the same film!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps I have a fixation with WW2, but I also found it intriuging--there wasn't a single character I didn't like--even loved Tim Curry's villainous Von Talon!

Now, if only Michael Palin would do a voice-over...

I really like this film. I bought it, because I love Tim Curry, and he did an exceptional job voicing Von Talon. The movie is a lot better than the rating suggest, and the negative reviews, are quite biased. I believe in a balanced argument, and I don't believe in tearing films to shreds. I like to be encouraging, and to evaluate the pros and cons of a film. Valiant is a kids' film, but adults can guess who is the actor behind the voice, which is entertainment in itself. Bethany
