Compared to the actual tennis games that came out in the 90s, pong was pretty bad.

There were several good ones that came out at this time but I would consider two of them to be the best tennis games ever. One was called Jennifer Capriati Tennis (also called Grand Slam Tennis is some markets) for the Sega Genesis and the other is a game called Final Match Tennis for the TurboGrafx - 16 also known as the PC Engine.

In my view, Final Match Tennis is the best tennis game ever made. JCT was a great one too and it had male players as well, not just female players but FMT captures the sport a little better than JCT.

You can find video clips of both games on youtube.

Pong was great. So was Asteroids.

Years ago someone bought me an Atari fashback. I'm not into video games. So, it gathered dust for about a decade. one day when my niece and nephew were over I took it out for them to play with. Now, this Atari thing has around 500 Atari games built into it. My niece and nephew found most to be boring with the exception of PONG. So if my 9 year old nephew, and my 6 year old niece have fun playing PONG when they also have the option of virtual reality, and modern video games then PONG is pretty dang COOL!

When I was a kid in 1975 and I got a Pong game, it was pretty sweet.
