Should I watch this ??

I'm not too fond of CGI either but I'll tolerate it when I must. It's been a long time since I've seen this but I don't recall complaining about the CGI. Just the movie per say. To me the 1976 film was better even though the special effects were more realistic in 2005 because of the CGI.

If it's just the CGI that makes you hesitate, I think you should still give it a try. Maybe you'll like the movie better than I did (it did get a 7.2 rating after all).
