Interesting to see just how bad a movie can be.

That's about all that can be said about this 200 million dollar garbage.

King Kong '33 still remains unbeaten, what a great movie.

it does, truly a masterpiece and completely entertaining, I remember being in awe watching it on tv even before I seriously got into cinema.

To each his own. I love all versions for different reasons. And Jackson’s version is hardly a bad one. Whatever shortcomings he had with the film I think he definitely achieved one thing successfully - and that was that he made Kong feel real. Kong looked totally believable through his physical behavior and emotions. I mean sometimes I was forgeting that I was looking at CGI and was totally invested in Kong as a character without suspending disbelief. Kong looked and behaved like a real gorilla for what you can’t say much with other King Kong movies, and I think that’s important and is the strength of this movie.

The OP is known for consistently posting negative shit. For whatever reason he felt compelled to make not just one but three threads here on the first page about how bad he thinks this movie is. Pretty sure he's just a troll.

I agree with you that Kong has what it takes to get the audience emotionally invested. I am always able to suspend my disbelief and I still remember his death making one of my exes cry when we were watching the film together.

If anything, the movie is UNDERrated. It's not a masterpiece, but it's certainly a well-made and effective adventure film.

lol please, it's one of the worst films ever made.

I don't think its THAT bad!

Just very bad.

Dude you are an idiot....🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

There are plenty of bad things about it. The scenes at the start depicting New York in the 1930's are done well, and you can't fault Serkis's performance as Kong. Other than that, there's not that much I can praise it for. I want to praise it for the special effects in places but in some scenes the green screening effects with humans alongside CGI is embarrassing and unforgivable.

one of the worst things is just how bad it looks aesthetically, like kong slipping on ice, it looks so bad.
