A real Greek tragedy

I liked this movie a lot. Yeah it had its flaws but they had top notch scenes with Kong and Anne. The soundtrack was amazing too. It always waters me up a little to see Kong die. I know he killed people but in the end it wasn't his fault. He only met his demise because of human greed. The ice scene was great, although inevitably sad because you know what's coming. I think it's even more sad where you see the scenes with other primate skeletons showing just how truly alone he was before Anne. He was the last of his kind and the message I got from the movie is about how humans destroy everything eventually...
