Great Movie!

Don't listen to the critics or the number of votes and bad reviews...
This movie is great for any fan of crime films and has a fascinating little story with some great characters and GOOD acting not BAD. This movie seemed pretty realistic to me and although some parts maybe "cliche" and predictable, this movie has plenty of surprises and slowly the movie gets better and better.
It's quite stunning this movie has so little votes and such a small release worldwide and is definately a must-have if you like films in imdb top 50.

I am really really not one of these types that goes to imdb boards and write nonsense and bad critics about movies just to "write".But I have to say this wasn't even an avarage movie at all. Ok story might be a bit interesting.But telling it and the acting was very bad. Especially ribisi, he was trying to act like de niro but no body can be a second de niro, I mean you can't play mafia just because you wear dark, smoke and shaping your hair like that. I can also add other ones to bad acting list too..That's my idea...

I agree completely. I just happened to turn to TMC and watch this movie last night, it was great.
The director is great, he's also one of the executive producers of the recently cancelled NBC show The Black Donnellys [it's a crime drama also], you can watch the whole first season on NBC.com

I have to confess that this movie was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. It's no GOODFELLAS but it's a solid little gangster flick that will command your attention.
