im so annoyed that the americans have taken a rele gd aussie show and hav made it their own, they even have the same songs!!!!!
i no u guys are probly americans so no offense but..... i think americans hav their heads so far up their own arses its not funny!!!! they made the american version bcoz americans didnt want aussies influencing thier kids at such a young age but u hav the wiggles!!!! u guys r confusing.
i jst wanted to inform u guys that u yanks didnt come up with the idea, australia doesnt get much credit for nething and it annoys me so jst letting u no aussies did it first!!

Yeah... i tot the aussies were better too. since they started it n even created the songs the americans shdn't copy them.
oh well, wad's the use, they started it n r obviously more popular i guess, rite? hahah, it doesn't realli matter much, as long as i enjoy them!!=) (the aussies i mean)

Thank you for saying that. I'm sure the Aussie's wouldn't have sold it to the Americans, if they didn't want them to use their songs and such.

No one is getting the short end of the stick. The Aussie's probably made more money by selling the rights for the Americans to make their own version, than selling the rights to play the episodes.

The Hi-5 producers in Australia decided to market the show in the US. They hired American actors to make a US version. So if anyone is damned here, it's the Kangaroos who make the program, because that was their decision.

Aussies truly are clueless, aren't they? I guess that's what they get for marooning themselves in a cultural wasteland -- an unnatural, embarrassing and, as it turns out, uninformed patriotism about a children's show.

lol, i do understand the original poster's point. i think its obvious to many people out there that americans often do make their own americanised versions of tv shows, movies, etc. from other countries. and i think much of the anger or resentment is because america has such a strong cultural influence over much of the world, they can have better success for the progam they've remade. but then thats the way it goes sometimes and it shouldn't really that much of a big deal- unless the originals dont gain credit for what was originally their work.
