can anyone tell me if there are any other movies like this one...where the main character is an athlete and is torn between his/her game and a relationship?? thank you.

I liked this one, there isn't much of relationship but this one somehow reminds me Wimbledon - Stick It (2006).
And Never Back Down is motivating movie about mixed martial arts and kinda relations.
