Across the Universe

.. is a Beatles song but the reason for naming a movie that way way was to say it may as well be Across the Atlantic, so different are the cultures.

so I was looking for that good old sparring as in Notting Hill, Fish Called Wanda, Across the Universe etc but this movie seemed to miss that opportunity for extra dimension above simply love story and tennis.

Also instead of Brighton I would have loved to have seen Wimbledon township shots - like not even a Womble?
