and OT, I did find it surprising that she said third base. I know she fixed it to second base because she was talking to her father, but was it a legitimate slip? Had she actually gone to second base before and meant third, but realized what she was telling her dad and switched to "going to" second?

shareHow old are you people that you don't know this stuff? When I was growing up, everybody knew this by the time they were 15-16, and that was 30 years ago! Now that kids are having sex earlier & earlier, I thought everyone would know this by the time they were 12-13!
Now if you are from a different country or culture, I can understand there would be some difference. Anyway, here's what I learned growing up:
1st base - Kissing & french kissing
2nd base - anything related to boobs that doesn't also include other genetalia
3rd base - anything involving penis/vagina but not actual intercourse (includes oral)
Home Run - Intercourse
Never did have a term for anal though.
