Annabella is one smart actress

Well for certain this "bro"-sayer thinks "bro" is Italian slang for sure. But not only that, but she portrays Spanish-speaking peoples quite properely. Her portrayal of a Spanish woman was perhaps more realistic than half the nonsense I've seen. Newsflash, no such thing as Hispanics. White Visigoths founded that region of the world we know today as Central, South America, Mexico and the Carribean Spanish countries. If anything her "bro"-saying character in "Woman on the Inside" (1991) was more ghetto than her character in this movie. PROPERNESS for once. Even her sassiness in "Once in the Life" (and I think it's implied she's Puerto Rico) is proper for the most part. I know her name is Maxine, but I think she's a Rodriguez, Gumzan or a Lopez but I can't be sure. Her surname in this one is Morales (Visigothic/Jewish name) and she is "bro"-hating to the core. And I think she's unlikable too. I just wanted to jump into the screen and smack her, not that I like Jeremy Piver anymore.
Her character is at least 2 woman on "Friends" but reversed to it being meant to not like her.

But yeah, Annabella Sciorra is smart.
