After you see him as Sean Bateman in Rules Of Attraction the whole fact that he played dimwitted,annoying Dawson Leery fades away and reminds you hey this guy can act. It's the best thing he's done period,loved him as a cruel,suicidal,drug dealing jerk.

Completely agree! I never watched the Dawson's Creek show but knew of his many nicknames (i.e. The Dawson & The Head.... its massive). Yeah, Rules of Attraction really showed me what this guy can do. He was just assholingly great!
