This might very well have been the worst movie ever made in the history of the world.
I think I would feel less like I wasted $5 of my $ if I actually burned $5 as opposed to renting this movie.
I would rather have my wisdom teeth extracted without anesthesia or novicaine as opposed to having to watch this again.

share90% of the movies have a "Worst Movie Ever" thread on them - and I always waste my time clicking on them to find out WHY they are supposedly THE worst movie ever, and they never really get into anything beyond "I wasted my time" and "Horrible!" They, in fact, are typically the worst posts ever on imdb. I would have been better off burning my computer than clicking on one of those threads. Having my wisdom teeth extracted with a sledge hammer would be more enlightening. I'd rather watch this movie again than read such empty posts about it.
(That's not to say this is a good movie at all - I'm just getting tired of these over statements... I'm just waiting for a reply to mention Uwe Boll or get into an arguement over what the TRUE worst film actually is)

LOL I was JUST going to make a comment about just about every movie thread having a WORST MOVIE EVER post.
sharereasons why this movie was terrible:
1. acting. not convincing. lines were way too abstract. Alicia disappoints.
2. story. was there one? did it exist? it was a very pretty movie and beautifully shot... but once more, way too abstract and simple at the same time.
3. overall suckassness. sorry, it just really sucks...
now, i wouldn't say that this is the WORST movie ever... because i haven't seen every movie ever made, BUT i will say that it is a smart move to indulge in bad movies in order gain more appreciation for the good ones.
and uwe boll does suck ass.

The visual art of the movie was nifty, but the storyline, for me, was sort of bland. It seemed too choppy and like the director was trying way too hard to use avant-garde symbolisms to make up for the lack of conventional details.
