The most inspiratonal film ever to me

Of all films, nothing has given me more inspiration than Quentin's recently available(than you youtube) 1st ever effort, kind of a student film without a school connected to it. QT is embarrassed about it and that's why it took so long to find. Nothing has charged my film aspirations and ambitions more. Why? Because he's my favorite filmmmaker who I credit as the best newcomer of the last 30 or so years, and this film shows a sucky-side common to most student films. I have always been amazed at how few student films there are that present anything positive within any single area at all. QT's film is probably within the top 20% of the student films I have ever seen and shows few signs of potential, overall signs of reasonable quality, and a couple of areas where it completely sucks.

For QT to at one time to have been so below a professional grade in pretty much every aspect of directing truly shows the value of experience and hard work in making a mediocre film novice into the cinematic genius he is today. I will say one thing for his film which is that he didn't have a college with resources available to him yet he did make a short superior to most other student film efforts I have seen, and it showed an overall level of focus often absent in student films.
